About Mallory

Hello there! :) My philosophy of children is rooted in ideas of "play" and "wonder." Little ones are such a gift. I come from a family of five daughters, me being the baby of the family. Ever since I was little, I saw my four older sisters caring for young children, until I was of age to do so along side them and eventually on my own. Taking care of children within my church, in both the nursery and preschool classrooms has been a huge part of my life for over 10 years. Last summer, I worked full time for an accredited daycare in Erie. At this daycare I grew immensely in my knowledge and experience of providing children with quality care and love. I was mainly placed in the infant room, taking care of four infants by myself at a time. I also worked in the other classrooms, with 2's, 3's, and 4/5-year-olds, up to children of kindergarten age. Before choosing philosophy as my major at Geneva College, I attended Gannon University and studied Early Childhood Education.
