About Maria

I started working with kids when I was 14 years old. A family friend would pay me to watch her eldest son and toddler baby. It was my first job. I have worked with kids k-12 in after school programs, summer camps and am currently employed at a dental office where i've been getting to work with children in a different environment. I do believe this experience has helped me to have a better understanding of what children need in uncomfortable situations and how I can show up for them to soothe them and tend their needs. I like working with kids because I love kids. I love how they think, I love their humor and I love their individuality. Kids teach me so much about this world and what truly matters. I truly enjoy watching them move through the world with their little personalities and big dreams.
