I have a lot of experience in home care. With my most recent client I took care of, I spent multiple overnights with him, taking care of him at all hours of the night. I also took him and his wife to medical appointments. I helped his wife with grocery shopping, light cleaning, and cooking. I am skilled to give medications and insulin shots. I have the skills to take vitals, range of motion, and use a Hoyer lift. I am trained in CPR. I have a Nursing degree from when I lived in Poland that I obtained in 1981. I am looking for full-time days or nights. My availability is open; weekends are fine too. I have also obtained my certified nursing assistant (CNA). I worked for 8. 5 years in a nursing home and 7 years with home care.

Maria has worked for our family since Sept 2011 and has taken excellent care of both my father and mother. My father who was a typical cranky old farmer who was paralyzed on his left side. Maria excelled at caring for my dad and giving him his 19 different medications, taking vitals, blood sugar and all his personnel needs. Maria used the hoyer lift and every day took my father for joy rides around the farm in his wheelchair. Maria also helped prepare meals and would transport mom and dad to doctor appts. Maria is part of our family now, and was the hardest working caregiver I've come across. Being in the medical profession myself, I am well aware of the difference between fair, good, excellent and outstanding care and Maria comes with my highest recommendation and will give your loved one outstanding care!!!!
