About Maria

At this moment I work every Saturday from 8 in the morning to 11 at night taking care of an elderly women. I enjoy it very much. I wake her up in the morning and look after her when she is walking in case her balance is off. Also I help her get dressed in the morning. I also get her breakfast ready and give her the morning pills she takes after we watch t.v. Then walk around a little after I get her lunch ready and after lunch she takes her nap. Then I wake her up after an hour and then we do some activities and by that time the hours fly by. I get her dinner ready, after she gets her night pills and she gets ready for bed. Then if she needs anything I get it for her or she calls me when she needs me to help her go to the bathroom. I have been working with her for a year now and it's something I'm looking to do long term. I enjoy it very much and I love to meet new people. I also have worked with an elderly man before who had Alzheimer's disease and I worked with him from 2009 to 2011 but sadly he passed. I did enjoy working with him and hearing his stories, it was hard to see his disease progress but I really enjoyed working with him as well.
