About Marissa

Hi! My name is Marissa and I've lived in Charlotte for almost 3 years now! I began working with children after I joined the 'Big Brother Big Sister' program and my big became blessed with twins. I have absolutely loved caring for them while having the opportunity to watch and help them grow up. I have over 8 years of experience, with an age range of newborn to 12 years, being an in-home nanny and general sitter. From homework help to daily chores, I believe there is a perfect balance of fun and work that all kids have, to make even the less desirable tasks become something to look forward to. I am a fan of field trips but also have a knack for never running out of ways to play at home. I love the outdoors and all things arts and crafts related. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga and making some version of a recipe. I love interacting with kids and the day look forward to the opportunity to help children to explore, learn, and grow.
