I am enthusiastic and I love working with kids! One of my life passions is teaching. I am currently a K-2 Spanish Teacher at ISM. Throughout the last 10 years, I have gained experience working with children ages 2-18. I have also spent four years teaching English to Spanish-speaking children in South America and Spain. While working at the YMCA as an Assistant Director, I developed a passion for integrating educational and outdoor activities as well as creating a safe and fun environment. I am an avid runner and yogi and I truly enjoy getting kids outdoors as much as possible. I am also currently CPR and First-Aid certified.

Marissa is a dream with kids! She's incredibly responsible, organized and responsive. Marissa created structured and balanced summer days with outdoor adventures, crafts and learning activities. My son adores her! We highly recommend Marissa and can't wait to work together again!
