About Martha

Hi! I enjoy caring for others. My goal is to enhance other people's lives. I am calm, nurturing, compassionate, responsible, thoughtful, patient, kind and understanding. I'm considerate and respectful of others. I care from my heart and see the positive in everything. I have lots of experience with cognitive disorders as well as special needs. I'm creative and outgoing. My experiences; I enjoy creating with autistic and children with Asperger Syndrome as well as other disabilities. I've watched, engaged with, provided transportation for these children and young adults. One was a girl, non-verbal but we connected and laughed a lot. She developed diabetes. I made sure her carb intake and medication was administered correctly. She was 11-13yrs of age. The young man had Asperger's syndrome, verbal and creative. I have experience with cognitive disorders. I took care of my dad that had onset dementia. I have wonderful references upon request. Looking forward to hearing from you.
