About Martin

I initially worked as a flight attendant, supporting inexperienced flyers and anxious travelers. However, since 2013, I have mainly worked in the mental health field. I am licensed as a substance use counselor, certified personal trainer, and certified peer support specialist, assisting individuals with mental health disabilities. I have experience caring for people in both residential and outpatient settings. I enjoy caring for seniors because their remaining years should be memorable. The people in my life say I am extroverted, empathetic, and caring. I started caring for seniors during my time in the mental health and substance use field. I have experience with medication management and chores. In my free time, I enjoy watching airplanes at CVG and cooking. It's worth mentioning that I am also a standup comedian, sober coach, artist, and volunteer at a LGBTQ community center. I also possess cooking skills for dietary restrictions, leading senior-focused exercises and fun activities.
