About Mary

Hi! My area of expertise for over 30 years has been in childcare, but having experienced my father, sister, and best friend's dad's difficulties in their senior years, I am interested in adding senior care to my resume. I know how alienated elder adults can feel, and often they just need companionship and someone to get them out and about sometimes, to chat with or just have on hand as they go through their preferred routine. I'm not strong enough to lift another adult in and out of bed or a bath, but I can assist with bathing if needed, and help getting to and from the bathroom, hygiene, dressing, etc. Can also organize complex medication schedules and make sure they're eating & getting enough hydration, etc.
