About Mary

I have worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for over 30 years. My focus was in special education/developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. I also have experience with the geriatric/elder population. I loved my career! Being able to help people is just part of who I am so I would like to continue to work providing "at-home" care to those in need of assistance. I am caring, compassionate and empathetic. I like to keep busy so I would be willing and able to assist with activities of daily living, mobility assistance, housework, meal-prep or assistance, shopping and errands. I have a working knowledge of making modifications/adaptations to activities or items required for someone who may have physical limitations. I understand how important personal independence is so I can assist when needed or just provide encouragement and support. I would love to be able to help someone needing assistance within their home and look forward to hearing from you.
