I retired summer of 2020 after teaching for 15 years: 5th and 6th grades for 8 years and in a STEAM lab for 1st-6th graders for 7 years. My two boys are finished with college. I babysat frequently as a teen, have had 2 long-term Care. com jobs (totaling 3 years) am the oldest of 9, and was an elementary school teacher with a Master Degree in Education. I have worked in area schools for 15 years. As a result of retirement, I am available to assist with online learning/tutoring and/or babysit during the days. I am also available to babysit/tutor in the evenings or weekends. My first career was as a CPA and undergrad was in finance/accounting - so math is my specialty. I have lived in McLean for ~40 years. I'm vivacious, active, and energetic.

Mary is amazing! She is very experienced as a mom, teacher and care giver. She is much more than a babysitter. She plans activities to engage the kids, has conversations with the kids and plays with the kids. Kids love her as a result.
