Greetings: I am very interested in your Nanny position. In 1986 I was hired as a live-in nanny for a family in New York. The two children were 4-month-old boy and 4 year girl. Two years later I moved to Montecito, California. My responsibilities for the next 7 years were to carefully help the children develop and grow. I worked with the parents to create a growth plan for each child. This included appropriate play and learning to be still the self-confidence and independence they needed to thrive. daily activities included outdoor play, going to clubs, and some form of developmental learning usually reading, and puzzles for motor skill development. I taught the children to be bilingual, English and Spanish. I was responsible for preparing fresh balanced meals for each child and daily clean up after the children. As the children matured to school age, I enrolled them in after school activities.
