About Marysol

Hello Families! My name is Marysol and I have over 10 years of experience working with kids. I'm the baby of the family so I initially started out babysitting my nieces and nephews. When I went off to college I got my first job as a preschool teacher to help pay for school expenses. I loved my job so much that I remained in the childcare setting until I graduated. Within that time I worked with all age groups from infant care (6 weeks - 12 months) to after school age (8+). I really enjoy working with kids! I love watching them play, laugh, and grow. Kids tend to love me too! Additionally, I have my degree in neuroscience and psychology with an emphasis in child neurodevelopment. After I graduated, I became a nanny for the most amazing families (I was a nanny-share) for a year until I decided to move back home to pursue a career in clinical research. Due to personal reasons, I've decided to take a step back from that and delve back into an old passion which is working with children.
