About Mary

I am a mother of 8 children and grandmother of 7; in the home and at work I am organized, intentional, creative, friendly and calm nature. In addition to the many years of home experience of raising my children and being a grandmother I have 10 years experience working as a substitute paraprofessional or part-time aide in developmental classrooms. I have provided assistance to special education students with a variety of disabilities including learning disabilities, autism and down syndrome. I have worked directly with students to accommodate special academic needs such as practice reading aloud, helped student understand and complete their assignments and monitor and encourage use of aiding equipment. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified. some of my hobbies are working out at the gym, swimming, gardening and I love to cook.
