About Mashiya

I am a 21-year-old girl with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I have a variety of experience in working with children. These experiences include me working a a registered behavioral technician for over a year, specializing in communication, social, environmental, and tolerance skills amongst children, ages 4-11, with autism spectrum disorder. I was also an intern at Chesapeake Bay academy where I worked alongside the school counselor, assisting students in the classroom and contributing to creating a suitable learning environment for children with learning disabilities. I also have experience babysitting in the home, where I practiced skills such as meal prep and cleaning. Through these jobs I believe that I am well equipped to implement valuable life skills while also maintaining a safe environment for your children to play, learn, and grow.
