About Matylah

Hi families ! My name is Ty and I am passionate about working with kids. I come from a single parent household and am the oldest of 4 so growing up I was on babysitting duty often. Back in high school, I was a caregiver to an infant while her parents worked. Currently I am in college majoring in Early Childhood Education. I was a teacher assistant at ASU's Child Study Lab to children ages 3-5 years old. Right now I intern in a kindergarten classroom and I work full time as a program aide at an ABA clinic with kids ages 5-8 years old that have severe autism. I would describe myself as a curious, creative, and determined individual with a passion for learning about self development. I am devoted to helping others, dedicated to the youth, and committed to continuous improvement.
