About Maureen

I have been a Direct Care Worker for 23 years where we were responsible for showering those who could not shower themselves, passing medications, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, assist with laundry. I was trained through the Macomb County First Resource North Facility where we were trained on medication training, CPR and first aid training during the course of my years, daily charting of individuals and their goals and seizure training with lists of appropriate things to watch for in case of a seizure. Most of all a compassionate and caring atmosphere for the individuals for which we serve. Had many in-home activities such as cards, bingo, and various games to the individuals liking. I served the elderly population in their 60's, 70's and 80's. Have fond memories of conversing with the individuals about their families and the times they share together. I really enjoyed working with clients in this atmosphere.
