BACKUP OR "AS NEEDED"CHILDCARE- I am a retired Elementary/Special Education Teacher, & hands on grandmother of 7 beautiful children, ages 7-14. I primarily look for one-time positions or substitute work. I would love to fill in for a day. I work for several families on this basis. It is always good to have someone you feel comfortable leaving your child with when your nanny calls in sick last minute. You can be assured your child is in competent, attentive, caring hands. I am available on short notice as well as book ahead for specific dates. I will care for sick or well children. I am reliable, friendly, organized and energetic, & available before/after school.(3 hr minimum.) I am CPR, AED & First-Aid trained. I really enjoy spending time with children and I will actively engage in games, crafts & activities they enjoy. I will keep your children safe and happy. I can help with homework, tutoring, meal prep, pet care, transportation, as well as other tasks. I hope to hear from you.

Our family hired Maureen for a holiday party. She definitely has a knack for little ones. My two-year-old absolutely loved her. She was very professional and pleasure to have helping with our little one. Highly recommend.
