About Maya

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, warm, and fun! I love making play magical for kids and learning through fun activities! I like working with kids because they are constantly giving me a new perspective. When they ask questions about the world around them because they are still new to it is my favorite thing. Everything in life can be a lesson! I started working with kids a little over a year ago as a Preschool teacher. Prior to that I worked in at the Child and Infant Lab at Temple University where I explored the benefits of learning through play and how a child interprets new information. In my spare time, I like to camp! I love being outdoors and exploring nature. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall you will find me outside! Whether it's riding bikes, swimming in lakes, or hiking mountains. I love everything outdoors.
