About Mckenna

Hello! My name is McKenna and I am excited to be part of the Care team! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development and behavioral psychology. I have been working with children in a preschool capacity, in home care, and in a clinical setting working in behavioral therapy. I am currently pursuing a degree in Music therapy from Belmont University (go bruins!) and I am looking for a family to work with during the time I'm not attending class. I love singing, dancing, playing pretend, and moving around a lot. I have experience working with both adults and children with special needs and working with children ranging from ages 1- 10 years old. I believe every child is unique and has a brand new way of seeing the world. I love helping kids learn the language skills and knowledge to pursue what they are passionate about as well as helping them discover new things.
