About Megan

I am the mother of a 2 1/2-year-old little girl, and I have been a stay-at-home mom for almost all of her little life, with a quick stint working full-time with Enterprise. I am now a single mom who is looking for a position that allows me to be with my daughter, while creating financial stability for us while we embark on the challenges of our new life together. My dream always was to be a stay-at-home mother. I absolutely love my job, and waking up every morning (early bird 4:30!) is a God given blessing. My daughter and I attend Mommy and Me groups together, we love to go to the park and swing, church groups, and soon we are going to take advantage of what the resource center has to offer for music and art classes. I pour myself into my child every minute of the day. I would love to be able to meet a new little toddler so I can do the same, and receive some money while doing it. I am very high energy, but also very gentle and loving with the great skill of multi-tasking that all of us mothers learn very quickly after our sweet angels are born! Really, my heart's desire is to help guide our youth in developing into healthy, happy, and secure human beings. My passion and dream was always to become a mother. I found after my daughter came into my life, that I wanted to go one step further and get into child care. I plan on enrolling in an early childhood career program at a technical college. Courses are offered online and part-time, and I will work my school schedule around the family's schedule! I would really love to work for a warm, loving family. I have it in me to nurture, care for, teach, and have fun with children! While structure is always a component, the fun never stops with singing and dancing our way through even picking up our toys! My hope is for mothers and fathers of the little ones I'm caring for, to feel secure and confident when they leave the house to work or volunteer. I wish them a feeling that I am a safe place to fall for their child. While I know there is always going to be some level of worry no matter who you leave your child with, I know that you will find me to be not only competent, but nurturing and always attentive. I need to do this to continue to provide for my daughter financially, but if I could do what I love at the same time, what a true blessing!
