About Megan

I began working with animals by volunteering at an animal shelter on a weekly basis for around a year- this prompted me to start a career in animal care in January 2020, where I work at Animal Friends as a Behavior Care Technician. We provide around the clock care for animals medically and behaviorally. I provide hands on care to these animals by working with them behaviorally as well as doing cleaning and physical care for the animals. I have a diverse background with 8+ years of cancer research and more recently a job as a senior care companionship. My prior experience has allowed me to fine tune my gifts of empathy and becoming in tune with animals energy/needs and wants. I've grown to become more in tune with animals personalities as they each have their own distinct personalities. I believe this is important when caring for any type of animal.
