About Meghan

I'm a passionate, charismatic and dependable teacher with experience providing support, organizing classrooms and instructing/tutoring students. I love teaching and tutoring because I get to interact with students on a daily basis. I love to help students to develop a growth mindset in order to be and feel successful in their future endeavors. I have been in the education field and have been teaching for about 12 years. I currently work as a 4th and 5th grade special education teacher in the local area. Prior to my transition to public school, I taught grades K-3 for about 5 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education & Childhood Education from The College of St. Rose. I received my Master's degree from SUNY Albany in Literacy Birth-6th grade as well as have an early childhood degree. I have a great deal of knowledge and experience working with elementary children and children that have special needs.
