About Mei-li

Hello, I have my Masters in Elementary Teaching and Teaching Credential (K-6) from UC Irvine. I have extensive experience in teaching math and ELA in primary grades, particularly K-2. I have been privately tutoring Kindergarten and 1st Grade students in English (phonics, reading, and writing) and math. This past year I have also student taught in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms, thus, I have a good understanding the goals students from these grade levels are working towards. I work to ensure I meet students where they are at so that they are properly supported and challenged. I love seeing the growth students make and I strive cultivate a joy for learning.
