About Melanie

Hi! I'm hoping to meet some great families in the Litchfield area! I moved to the area in 2019 from FL but spent most of my life outside Boston. I have had the opportunity to provide exceptional childcare for many families in all 3 areas over the past 18 years, including my own kiddo who is 5 years old and attends a local Montessori school! Hired as a mother's helper at 10 years old to help out a new mom working from home, I started a busy babysitting business that blossomed into a full-time, demanding Nanny and Family Management business. I focused a portion of my undergraduate studies on child psychology and development and have worked with children of all ages, specializing in multiples, infants, and toddlers. All of my former families will be available for contact as references. Past employers have considered me to be highly engaged and attentive with their children, and have been extremely pleased with my interactive approach to learning and development.
