Mindie worked for us taking care of my mother for about a year before her death from Parkinson's and dementia then took over my father's care immediately after. We had 24 hr care. Dad had heart disease, multiple strokes and increasing dementia. She took care of him for 3.5 years till his death this past April. Mindie not only has extremely high nursing knowledge and skills but also a loving bedside manor. She knew dad loved country food and she cooked it for him. She also introduced him to foods he would have never eaten before his dementia and he loved them. Mindie would dress up for holidays and for Reds and Bengals games making sure dad had his team shirt on and they watched all of the games together. To prevent skin breakdown she made her magic butt cream. Most health facilities have it but ours healed up any potential breakdown in days. Our home health and hospice teams were amazed and asked for her recipe. She became family to us and we miss her. Mindie is great.
