About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa, I started working with children 10 years ago but have been babysitting well before that. While babysitting I have taken on household duties, ran errands for the family, and even stayed over night when needed. Throughout my teen years I worked at a daycare/preschool; here I was responsible for children of all ages and everyday was fun and exciting. I have graduated from Stockton University with a BA in Psychology. I am currently enrolled at OCC and will receive my Interpreter's Degree next May. I have worked at a school for children with Autism, where I was with students of varying disabilities. For over three years I nannied a Deaf and disabled child. My background has taught me positive reinforcement methods, how to be an active listener, along with being cheerful and energetic. And overall, I am passionate about helping and being around children. Also am CPR certified, a non-smoker, and have my own transportation. Hope to be in touch!
