About Melissa

First, I would like to start by saying I am a very respectful and responsible gal who absolutely loves working with children. I am a UC Berkeley graduate, currently pursuing a masters degree in nursing. I have several years of experience in childcare. I worked as a teacher assistant for a UC Berkeley Early Childhood Education Center as well as babysat outside of that. During my time there, I interacted with children during their active play time, prepped meals/bottles, helped put the children to sleep, cleaned up/disinfected, etc. I have taken Early Childhood Education, nutrition and psychology courses. I am CPR certified. Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers but I have worked with older age groups. I am patient and observant. I enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, going on walks, reading and keeping spaces organized.
