About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa and I have a little over 5 years of on again/off again experience of working with children. During my senior year of high school, I had an internship at a local elementary school, where I planned and taught lessons to first and second graders. For about a year, I volunteered as a sunday school teacher at my church, with a classroom of 2 and 3-year-olds. During college, I worked as a camp counselor for a couple of summers where, I led a group of elementary aged girls each week. Currently, I work as a Registered Behavioral Technician, and have been doing so for 2 years now. I work alongside children on the Autism Spectrum primarily ages 2-9 years old. I have a heart for working with children and for encouraging them to be confident individuals. I can help with cleaning, doing laundry, running errands, and with assisting in homework where I can. Overall, I have a willingness to help where need be. It would be an honor to work with your precious one(s)!
