About Melissa

Hi. I am currently a nanny (for the last 6 years) and before that a preschool teacher (for over 20 years) at some of Denver's best preschools. I have experience working with all ages, but my passion was teaching 2/3-year-olds in a Reggio based classroom. I have extensive training in a child centered learning environments, and am passionate about early childhood education. I have two children, a son who is 16 and a daughter who is 13. They are the centers of my world. I am looking for a family who needs weekend care, evenings or organizational/household manager positions. I believe you will find me to be a detail oriented and analytical thinker who is creative and flexible with tasks that have been assigned. I am organized, efficient, and a self-motivated. I have AMAZING references, two college degrees in ECE (as well as Communication with an emphasis in PR) and am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have experience with special needs.
