I have experience with Dementia/Memory care, aging adults, hospice care, limited mobility, cancer patients and other life limiting conditions. I have also worked in Human Resources and as a Senior Receptionist in a skilled nursing home. I will be able to be gentle and understanding to your loved one. I love telling stories and interacting with older adults. I will be able to gear our time together so that it is engaging and enriching. I am a Mother to 5 grown children and a Grandmother to 3. Am very willing to work weekends, respite care and when normal provider is on sick leave.

Melissa is an absolute blessing to my family in her caring for my mother. She is a very friendly individual who thrives at making a difference and created a bond almost immediately with my mother. Melissa is very good at what she does - she is knowledgeable of proper techniques and safety elements in working with the elderly, kind and compassionate during her interaction with my mother, a great communicator and, overall, a wonderful caregiver. I can’t give Melissa enough credit for her efforts in having an elderly woman look forward to seeing a friendly face every day. I would highly recommend Melissa to another family in need of a caregiver for their loved ones.
