About Melyssa

I am often told that I am a natural caregiver. Sometimes I think I should have gone into nursing instead of business. I truly thrive on compassion and caring and I am very patient. Most recently I cared for my 92-year-old grandfather with dementia and before, during and after his major ostomy surgery which he had twice. I was with him days, evenings and overnights about 30-50 hours per week, alternating with other family members. I managed his schedule of caregivers, doctors appointments, medicine and supplements, as well as assisted with meal planning, doctor visits, laundry, errands, shopping, housecleaning, bathing, dressing, ostomy care and would care. I mostly enjoyed spending time with him, talking, laughing and listening to music. I miss my time with him and would love to assist another person and their family.
