About Meya

Hello! my name is Meya and I am a college student looking for work opportunities with families in Bellingham. I am a 21-year-old female with 5+ years of experience working with children and their families. I value creating a trusting relationship with the families I work with where children feel supported. I am most experienced working with ages 2-12, and am always open to learning new skills. I enjoy working with children in imaginative, athletic, and learning environments. I consider myself an attentive, kind, and responsible caregiver. Working in previous positions as a caregiver and lifeguard/swim instructor provided me with CPR/AED training, leadership and teaching with children, and safety skills. While pursuing education in health and human development, I am looking for positions that work with my academic schedule, or long term opportunities with families who are willing to be adaptable.
