About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, I graduated from the University of Texas in 2020 with a BFA in studio arts and I am currently in the process of completing my post-baccalaureate in Psychology; both of which I incorporate into my work. I am very reliable, patient, nurturing, attentive, optimistic, and responsible (very, very responsible). I worked as a nanny for 3 years with children 6 and under, have prior professional experience teaching children ages 9-13, and have been teaching toddlers at a Montessori school for the last year. I really value creativity and individualism, so I prefer to establish relationships built on mutual respect. With that being said, I understand that, as a nanny and teacher, part of my job is to aid in the child's development: teaching them about right from wrong, how to treat others, how to advocate for themselves, etc. I am very passionate about working with and learning from children and I am eager to help out in any way that I can!
