About Mia

Hello, my name is Mia, and I am passionate about teaching kids! I recently graduated cum laude from Boston College, with a degree in Elementary Education and Applied Psychology and Human Development. I have spent the past few semesters at Boston College learning the K-6 curriculum in mathematics, science, ELA, reading, social studies, and art, both in my undergraduate courses and in the classroom with students. I completed my student teaching practicum in the fall of 2020 in a fifth grade classroom, and received the Award for excellence in student teaching. I have additional experience working with a youth theatre company, and have a minor in Educational Theatre. I also have spent time substitute teaching for grades pre-k through high school. I am hardworking, passionate, and willing to work with you and your children to give them the best education possible!
