About Michael

I have been working in education for the past 8 years, and I am currently back in school transitioning to the healthcare field. l have taught Math (algebra I-II and geometry), Chemistry, and Spanish at the High school level. I have worked as a professional tutor for three years in these subject areas, as well as being fully trained in both sections of the SAT. Prior to my transition to the classroom, I was the director of an outdoor education program teaching outdoor science classes and adventure activities to youth of all ages, ranging from 5 years old up through the university level. Across my various roles, I have experience teaching in both group and one-on-one settings, communicating with parents, organizing and coordinating logistics, and developing curriculum for various learning styles. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching and I find ways to connect and work with each student's individual strengths and weaknesses.
