About Mikaela

Hello, I've had experience babysitting a variety of kids ages 6 mo-13 years old for the last 12 years. I have part-time nannied in the past (for 4 years) for a family of 3 kids. I was in charge of taking them to activities, sports events, and making meals for them. I have watched 2 kids while their parents were on vacation for a week at a time (2x). I was responsible for their daily care, meal prep, getting them to their friends house, to sporting activities and doing fun actives with them during the day. Back in college, I worked at an after-school elementary day care program tailored to 5 - 11-year-olds. I was in charge of planning fun activities, watching out for their daily welfare, and going on field trips (chaperoning 10-12 kids in a group). I was responsible for handling conflicts between kids, dealing with medical emergencies, providing daily reports to parents. I graduated with a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in ASL.
