Working at both Kumon and OnYourMark Education has made me both a passionate Literacy Tutor & Educator. Having attended Kumon myself, I am aware of the patience and drive needed to both teach and understand a students way of learning. Each child is different and it's important that as tutors, we take the time to be compassionate about the in's and out's of the learning process. My experience ranges from teaching children aged 5-6 the importance of Phonics and Speech Development to helping students aged 9-11 grasp the concept of writing paragraphs and short essays to formulate a story.
