About Mila

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, creative, and friendly. I like working with kids because I simply find genuine enjoyment and fulfillment in making a child feel safe, loved, and heard! It also gives me a chance to learn the personalities of each child so I can accommodate to their needs best. I have worked with kids since I was around 7 years old helping take care of my baby brother. I then started doing paid babysitting at around 14 for neighbors and family friends. I did that until I was around 18 since I was moving away for college and working as a lifeguard. I also worked with plenty of kids while being a lifeguard. One of the biggest things I'm passionate about and love to do in my spare time is drawing and painting. I have also been teaching myself how to crochet and play the ukulele. Additionally, I love listening to music, reading, baking, and learning about plants. My skills include active listening, communication, and above all, patience.
