About Ming

I was born in China in 1967. Besides English, I speak fluent Chinese in Mandarin and Cantonese. I have 10 years of direct experience as a full-time nanny with children from birth up to 8 years old. I also have experience of caring for two young children from a family. As a nanny, I always place the safety and well being of the children first. I enjoy reading books, including in Chinese, to the children. I instill in them good manner in their behavior. To encourage children interaction with others, I take children to different activities; such as children reading programs in museums, local libraries and book stores. To further encourage children to communicate and play independently with other children, I arrange play dates with other nannies so that the children can play together, under our watchful eyes. I teach children performing independent functions such as eating/drinking on their own, and attempting to glean them away from diapers as soon as practical and appropriate.
