About Miranda

Hello Parents, I'm a mother to a very active 11 yr old boy. Well many of them, since they practically live at my house all weekend and summers, lol. I have been a Teacher Assistant for the past 8 years in K-5. I love kids, they can be crazy but are so funny. I can be strict when needed but sitting down explaining what they did wrong always works; you just have to let them explain it in their words and positive reinforcement is awesome. I love to be outside with them as well, throwing a ball or playing freeze tag; it's so much healthier on the body and mind than watching TV or playing video games. I also work in the children's ministry at church when I have the extra time. I've been the team mom and class room parent for the past 7 years in my son's class and sports. I have been finger printed, know CPR and have been approved by Serve. I also do reading and math tutoring. I am an over protective mom/woman, so trust me your children will never be left alone and I will always have their best interest at heart and follow the rules you set. Thank you for reading. Mandee
