About Miriam

I love working with kids! Imagining alongside them, and being able to provide a safe space where they can grow and learn about the world, themselves , and how special they are. I've been providing child care services for the past 2 years. I just moved from VA where I nannied for two families. I have experience with ages 4-6, 7-8, and 11. I love helping kids learn what they are capable of and encouraging their imagination . I know how to cook nutritions meals as well as clean. I have transportation and I'm willing to take kids to and from school activities. I took ASL up to level 2. I am half dutch and bilingual. I am currently learning Spanish. In my spare time, I like to rock climb, travel, read, run, cook/bake, surf, paint/draw, take film photography, and play ukelele. My skills include communication/compassion, helping kids understand their feelings, creative thinking-coming up with new fun and exciting activities keeping kids engaged and motivated to explore.
