I have known from a young age that I want to have children of my own one day. Working with children and teaching them new skills and knowledge is very rewarding to me. I enjoy how curious they are about the world and I love to inspire them towards appreciating nature and our oceans. Starting at age 10, I continue to share my knowledge of Girl Scout outdoor skills, teach swimming lessons, lead summer camps and teach marine science. My skills include First Aid/CPR (I have been lifeguard certified as well as a water safety instructor for 10 years), I am very patient to understand if they have a question or concern, and I always approach children with a friendly comforting smile and attitude.
