About Monica

I have been looking after children of a variety of ages since I was a teen. Most recently I was a nanny for a baby boy, H, from 10 weeks to 24 weeks. Before that, I cared for a baby, L, from birth to 4 years old. I enjoyed my time working with a young lady with Autism while I was finishing up school. I am CPR certified and have completed over 30 hours of training that focused on care for children and young adults with special needs. I have a deep passion for children and teaching them new things. I received my bachelors degree from TU in 2016 and have my MD State Certification in teaching. I have been teaching in MCPS since January 2017. Although I have been working with high schoolers for 7 years professionally, I love working with kids of all ages, and backgrounds. I moved to Westminster with my wonderful husband and bought a house with him in 2022 with our two dogs. I recently had my son in December 2023 and am looking for part-time work.
