About Monica

I'd describe my personality as positive, cheerful and calm. I my first job out of high school was as a senior care giver. The person I cared for impacted my life in so many ways, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I learned so much about care and compassion through her, and I have carried that with me all my life. I have worked in adult and senior psychiatric care through the state of Kansas, and through those years of experience, l have learned patience and resiliency. It has allowed me to view life through different lenses and understand the complexities of the mind. I love being able to provide care, compassion, companionship, and assistance. I have experience with ADLs such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and ambulatory assistance. I also enjoy cooking and don't mind a little housework.
