About Monisha

Hello there, I'm Monisha and I have done tutoring ( pre k-3rd grade) for many years. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and I also have a Bachelors in Sociology. As a recent home school teacher for two children during the pandemic, I formulated themed lesson plans that we did weekly. They were a whole lot of fun but also super engaging to the point where my students loved to learn. I try my best to make my lessons fun by incorporating things based on my students interest such as their favorite books, toys, movies, music etc. I excel in teaching math, reading, writing, critical thinking skills etc. As a holistic teacher, I try my best to focus on the individual academic needs of every child I encounter because I believe that everyone learns differently. This approach has really helped me thrive as a tutor for young children.
