Greetings! I am a student at University of Alaska Fairbanks achieving an M. S in Biology. My primary focus is in evolution, genomics, and ornithology. I received my bachelors in Biology (with a concentration in chemistry and genetics) in May 23' at SUNY Albany. I am passionate about science and strive to make the subject interesting and tailored to individual needs. I hope to inspire students to be scientists like myself. I minored in creative writing and have published several short stories and poems. My teaching experience comes from tutoring a 7-year-old, and multiple undergraduates. I tutored a group of high school students in multiple STEM disciplines during the summer of 22' for the NYS STEP program.
