About Mya

One of the most important things to me is being surrounded by a loving community, feeling seen & heard. Growing up, I realized the importance of it, and the impact it has on a child's life. I want to foster an environment, where your child knows they have one more person in their corner. I am a recent graduate of Penn State University! I've been learning Japanese for about 10 years, so I know the difficulties that a young child may face while learning a language. While in college, I was a Japanese tutor for new learners. I've also have some experience in the piano. I have 2 years of experience in babysitting; I've baby sat for friends and even my own family. I can help with travel and cooking/meal preparation. I am willing to do additional tasks if needed. Through my experiences, I believe I am well equipped with patience, understanding, and most importantly, love. With my creativity and reliability, your child will be in great hands !
