About Mya

Hi there! I am a student at Bard College in New York. I have grown up around pets, caring for up to three household dogs at a time! I love learning each pets specific needs, quirks, and personalities and I pride myself in going above and beyond to ensure your pet doesn't miss you TOO much! :) I'd describe my personality as playful, responsible, and creative I like working with animals because I've always had at least one house hold pet, whether it be a dog, cat, fish, or hermit crab! I started working with animals (officially) last summer when I began pet sitting in my neighborhood. However, I have volunteered at animal shelters and helped feeding farm animals for years!! In my spare time, I like to be outside. Especially during the summer time! Additionally, I up cycle clothes, make jewelry and I love to paint.
