About Nancy

Hello! My name is Nancy. I am originally from Kenya. I am a mother and a grandmother who loves children! Over the years, I have farmed, had my own grocery store, worked as a trained tailor, worked in adult group homes, and raised 5 children! I am looking to find a job, nannying or doing senior care. I love the outdoors and taking walks, and I also enjoy music, laughter and the beauty of life. I live with my son and daughter-in-law. My DIL is helping me with my profile, so you will likely speak with her first before you talk to me. My hope is to find a family that I can work for within the Hillsborough, Durham, or Chapel Hill area. I do not drive, so I am looking for a job where that is not required - I do have transportation to and from work. I am somewhat limited on how much weight I can lift - I can safely lift 30lbs, but beyond that I need to be very careful. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and I am vaccinated for COVID.
